UMMC pays special attention for revival of intangible heritage. There are churches being built or resurrected almost in every town where company's enterprises are situated. The Temple for the Dormition of the Virgin was erected in Verkhnaya Pyshma, and a whole Monasterial complex in the name of the Saint Royal Martyrs was created not far away from the town, at the place where the bones of the last Russian emperor family were annihilated, with the help of the company.
UMMC and Metallurgical plant n/a A. K. Serov finance construction of the Temple of Christ's Transfiguration. Besides that the metallurgical plant took part in restoration of an iconostasis in the Convent of the Patronage of God's Mother in Verkhotourie. Masters from Serov also produced the reliquary of Simeon Verkhotourskiy for the Transfiguration Cathedral in Verkhotourie.
The erection of the Temple in the name of Archistratigus Michael is being conducted in Revda with the help of OAO Sredneuralskiy Copper Smelter, and in Kirovgrad the Temple in the name of St. Venerable Ambrose Optinskiy is being constructed. OAO "Gaiskiy GOK" finances the building of the Temple of St. John of Kronstadt. The Temple of St. Nickolas the Wonderworker is being erected in Mednogorsk, which is supported by UMMC; it reminds one of the Temples in the complex in Ganina Yama by its architecture.
UMMC took part in financing the Temple-on-Blood in Ekaterinburg, in constructing the monastery of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Verkhotourie. Representatives of other confessions also feel the support of the company. So, being financed by UMMC, the Mosque in the name of Imam Ismail Boukhari was erected.
