KONSTANTIN YEVGENYEVICH STARKOV
Konstantin Starkov was born on 30 June 1961 in Kamensk-Uralsky of Sverdlovsk region. In 1983 he graduated from the Ural Polytechnic Institute (today UGTU-UPI) majoring in “base metals metallurgy”.
In 1983 – 1991 and in 1993 – 1997 he worked on Sukholozhsky plant “Vtortsvetmet” where he went up a carrier ladder starting from a shop foreman for hydrometallurgical slag processing and up to the Head of aluminum smelter. 1991-93 – process engineer, Head of a pilot plant for processing of Au-As concentrate from “Nezhdaninsky” mine owned by “Zoloto Yakutiy” concern.
1997 – December 2002 he occupied a position of a General engineer of OAO “Verkh-Neyvinsky Non-ferrous plant”, Head of non-ferrous alloy production and Director of Polymetalls production of AO “Uralelectromed”.
In December 2002 he was appointed as the first Deputy of General Director of OAO “Svyatogor” and since January 2003 he became a Director of OAO “Svyatogor”.
And starting from November 2006 he holds a post of the Technical Director of OOO “UMMC-Holding”.
In 2004 he has been awarded with Lomako Prize and an honour for “Merits for Ural Mining & Metallurgical Company” |
