The key industries are machine-building and metal-working. Instrument-making industry is introduced by instrumentation plant and electrical industry by production company “Sibelectromotor”. Bearings are produced at “RolTom”, mining equipment and instrumentation are manufactured at AO “Tomsk Instrument”, cable products-at AO “Sibcable”, petroleum-at AO “Tomskneft”, chemical products –at Petrochemical plant, AO “Polypropylene” and Rubber shoes plant; timber and woodworking industry is presented by Concern “Tomsklesprom” and Pencil Factory.
